On Monday 13th June Year R, 1 and 2 went to Southsea Beach and Aquarium. For our topic this term Year 1 and 2 are comparing what the seaside is like now to what it was like in Victorian times. Both year groups spent some time on the beach looking at what we could see in the environment. Year 1 also had a shell hunt and Year R had a treasure hunt on the beach. All year groups were able to look around the Aquarium and we saw lots of different fish, sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and frogs. We also had a look at some animals that live in a rock pool and we got to touch a starfish and a spider crab. What an exciting day they had!
